Fashion for Tall Women

Posted by iBuysblogger on Monday May 10, 2010 Under Fashion

Women who are tall, that is 5′ 9” and above, have their own set of fashion issues just like shorter women. While the fashion industries uses unbelievable tall women to show their latest styles, the clothing that is actually in the stores are more for an average women. One would think that the stores would have the clothes like the designers made them for the models but, sadly, this is just not the case.

Swimming suits are a fashion problem many tall women face. This issue is more common when looking for a one piece swim suit. Most one piece swimming suits are only long enough for the average sized women’s torso. Tall women will find that with the awkwardness in the swimming suit is when the lower part comes up too high on the body or the upper part is too high or sometimes both the upper and the lower parts are totally disproportionate. Unless a woman just has long legs that make her tall, one piece can be a bit of a problem. It can be better to stick to the two piece on which at least won’t have the issues of an “ill-fitted garment”.

The biggest complaint, and most well known for tall women is the problem they face with their jeans and trousers. It is quite common that they struggle to find a proper and proportionate length for the style that are looking for or the waist line that they want to go for. This issue is very common in low and medium prices brands, yes, high end designer clothes will not have this issue as much as the lower end high street brands will have, but then, how many time would we go and buy a high end designer jeans and trousers.

In this day and age trousers and jeans have become a way of life for women and especially working women and why not, they are easy to handle and comfortable to wear. You don’t have to worry about the high wind or a bit of push up while you are at lunch or even in the office. With taller women, jeans and trousers are even more popular because to wear skirts there is a general feeling that you need to have “perfect legs”, although it is really hard to define what “perfect leg” is!

Some women don’t want to appear too tall and for those Cuffed trousers are a good deal, they will make a women’s height seem less. Cuffed trousers do shorten the look of the legs as a whole.

It is also very important to understand what fitting means and how it should look on you. Anything that has the required length and waist that suits your body is not always a well fit. You need to wear only that jeans or trouser that makes your lower body appear the way you want. If you want to reveal your figure then a tight fitting jeans can be the best buy for you, sometime you are in a profession where you want to present yourself in a mild manner and that is when a loose fit will be good, thus revealing only what you want to reveal and concealing the rest.

The length of your trousers or jeans is heavily dependent on the footwear that you are wearing. High heel shoes or footwear would require a slightly longer trouser length where as flat shoes would mean that you would not want to drag your trousers on the floor.

Jeans are good to control the length, you can fold them up a bit just to fit your required length and even that looks good. Jeans are casual though and it is not possible to fold up the trouser length when you are wearing formal wear.  An extra eighth of an inch can be added to the length of your trousers if the idea is to wear them with higher heels.

Cargo pants are one such design that suits a taller woman much better. They make you look wider and when you have the height you can carry that easily. Shorter women will look wide and thus shorter than what they are in Cargo trousers. There are some fashion perks to being tall.

Ultimately the most important thing that everyone should remember in fashion is that you should wear what you feel good in, feel comfortable in and can carry it easily. No fashion is worth doing if it leaves you uncomfortable and prevents you from enjoying the occasion you are in.

Fashion Tips for Petite Women

Posted by iBuysblogger on Wednesday May 5, 2010 Under Fashion

Women who are petite, as well as have curves, need to us their clothing to lengthen their bodies as much as possible, while also reducing the look of it volume. There are some general rules for women whose figure fit this description. To be able to hide the figure of a short curvy body, there are a few tips you can follow.

  1. The number one focus needs to be on lengthening the look of your body. The most common error that petite women commit when it comes to their wardrobe is to cut their bodies in two with short jackets and belts. The attention gets drawn to the shortness of your body if you wear a jacket that stops at your waist, a belt on the top of your pants or over a blouse at the waist, because it put the body into two sections. Instead strive to create complete lines to make you look longer.
  2. Do not wear more fabric in the waist area then needed. If you have curves then you will already have enough volume in this area to manage, adding more will only bring attention to this area.
  3. It is a common myth that extremely long skirts will lead to your legs appearing longer. In reality these baggy and long skirts do the opposite. Long skirts only make you look taller if they are straight and stop at the ankle.
  4. A good way to make your legs appear to have more length is to wear pants (trousers / jeans) that have a straight cut and cover high heel shoes or boots. If they come almost to the floor, it will make your legs appear to be the length of the shoes, the taller the heel the taller you are and the longer your legs look.
  5. While you can mix your colors up, it is best to stick to a single color to make you appear taller and thinner. Add color to your outfits through jewelry, shoes and handbags.
  6. Do not wear thick material because it will only leave you looking even bulkier.
  7. If you are carrying around extra weight, the best trick to hide it is by wearing clothes that fit properly. If they are too big they will balloon out to make you appear larger and if they are too tight they will show every bump.
  8. Clothes that are too tight are a risk. Clothes that cling to your tummy or show off the rolls on your back are not attractive. Neither are pants so tight that you upper body mushrooms over the edge. All this will only bring unwanted attention to your problem areas.
  9. If at all possible, petite women should wear shoes with higher heels as much as possible. This does not mean stilettos; there are great wedge shoes available as well. Although a sexy stiletto with a straight cut pants is the perfect combination to give you added length and height.
  10. Never forget that any fault in your figure can be camouflaged with the right clothing

Three Ways Women Sabotage Relationships

Posted by iBuysblogger on Tuesday Feb 23, 2010 Under Relationships

Women who are deep in a relationship or just starting out in one can make any of these three deadly mistakes. Each of the three are mistakes just about every women has made that have lead to the death of a relationship, even if they are not aware they have committed the offense. By knowing what they are you can learn to correct them to not make the same mistake twice.

One of the fastest ways to kill a relationship, especially a budding one, is to be overly needy. While most people enjoy their partner needing them to a certain degree, if you prove to your partner that you are completely dependent on them for all your emotional needs, you can burn them out pretty fast.

The pressure of being another adults complete support while also trying to live your own life can be overwhelming. Your partner needs to know that you can take care of yourself. Not only because they need a break from the responsibility of caring for you but so that they know you will be able to handle caring for them should they need it.

Relationships are give and take. Sometimes you may need a bit more help and other times you can step up to be the support for your partner.

Avoid constantly comparing your partner to your father or mother. Trying to live up to what is probably an idealized image of your parent is a lot of pressure. Constantly hearing about how you are not as good as someone else can be a complete deal breaker. This includes relying too heavily on your parents advice and not making decisions based on what your partner has to say.

Simply saying that your mom says so is not going to work in an adult relationship. Your parents are not in your relationship so your decisions should be made with your partner. If your parents are a constant intrusion on your relationship, and you want it to last, then you are going to have to be strong enough to set healthy boundaries with them.

You need to reassure them that you are an adult and that they have taught you well enough for you to now be able to make your own decisions.

Be sure not to get sucked up into a world of your own and in the process alienating your partner. This can be a real problem for those women who have been on their own for awhile. If you have been single for some time you may have become so acclimated to your own world that when you start to date someone, you just keep going about business as usual.

This will mean that you have to become more flexible with your schedule and activities to include the things your partner needs and wants to do. By combining your world with your partners you can really expand your experiences.

You may find new activities and other things that you really enjoy that you had previously never even heard of.

Relationships are precious, remember its always give and take that works “

Handbags You Can Afford to Match Every Outfit

Posted by iBuysblogger on Saturday Feb 13, 2010 Under Fashion

Nothing is better than having a collection of handbags available to coordinate with all the outfits you have in your closet. If money was no object, most women would have a handbag to match every outfit they have. But, money is certainly a concern for most people especially in today’s economic times.

But just because money may be tight does not mean that you have to sacrifice style. With a few tips you can have affordable handbags to match every outfit. You don’t have to stop buying them all together, simply shop smarter and you can find that you will have plenty of handbags to match your entire wardrobe without breaking the bank or going into debt.

When considering a new handbag, look at your wardrobe and determine the color scheme you most often wear. For example, if you typically wear conservative, dark colors, choose a handbag that will work well with those.

Instead of buying dozens of handbags in different colors, choose neutral shades that will work with the majority of your wardrobe. Perhaps buy a brown and black handbag as well as one more brightly colored purse. This way you don’t spend a lot of money but maximize the handbags you have for the most outfits.

Another thing to consider is the style of clothing you wear. If you are like most women you probably have a variety of different styles of clothing. You probably have some professional outfits, some casual clothes and a few snazzy outfits for club wear or going out on the town.

Choose handbag styles that will work well for each occasion. Choose a typically casual style of handbag like the hobo bag or tote. You may also want to get a more formal purse such as a clutch for evenings out. Both a shoulder bag and satchel are good all purpose styles that work well for any occasion.

Classic styles and colors are also a good investment when it comes to handbags. While everyone likes to be trendy and get the occasional handbag that is in style this season, odds are either the color or shape will not be as in style a year from now. But, if you stick with the classic types of handbags you will have a great investment that will last for many years. They are classic because they never go out of style. You can wear them with the trendiest of clothes and the most conservative so are definitely a good investment.

Finally, you should always look for quality in a handbag. While it may seem tempting to go with the cheapest purse, if it will not hold up to a bit of wear and tear, it will not be worth the money you spent on it. Instead, consider spending a little more money for a well made handbag that will last several years with proper care. This way you can get the most out of your money and maximize its use. Affordable handbags to match every outfit in your wardrobe are not difficult to find as long as you know how to shop and what to buy.

Why You Should Never Buy A Fake Designer Handbag

Posted by iBuysblogger on Friday Feb 12, 2010 Under Fashion

They often look cheap
A genuine designer handbag exudes luxury and exclusivity. The fabric is of high quality and every little detail has been carefully thought through creating a well-made bag which is worthy of its (often) hefty price tag. Too many people buy into the ‘brand’ without worrying about quality. Fake designer handbags lack the quality that genuine designer bags boast, which can result in a cheap-looking imitation. Cheap replica handbags look cheap! It also defeats the point of promoting a label if you’re not prepared to purchase the genuine article.

Unless stated as a ‘fake’, replica handbags are illegal
If sellers declare the bags as ‘fake’ then it is legal to sell imitation handbags as they don’t infringe on the designer’s copyright. If they’re not clearly labelled as fake then it’s illegal to sell counterfeit designer handbags.

You’ll be supporting organised crime
If you buy a fake designer handbag then you’re not just simply buying a cheap handbag, you’re supporting a highly organised crime. Many of the bags are produced in Asian countries such as China and are often made by young children who work in poor conditions. Taxpayers are the people who end up with the bill from this illegal enterprise – don’t add to our taxes!

Who wants substance over style?
Ok, so you like Chanel and Luis Vuitton. Everyone has there favourite designer and there’s nothing wrong with wanting a beautiful designer bag but when it comes to buying a fake designer handbag you’re faking so much more than your bag. Don’t forgo the quality for a cheap alternative, either buy a second-hand designer bag or buy a bag inspired by a designer classic.

You could buy a handbag inspired by a designer classic for a fraction of the price.
Why waste money on a cheap fake designer handbag? There’s something tacky about a handbag which has been made with inexpensive materials that has been designed to ‘look’ expensive you’re not fooling anyone! Even the relatively expensive fake designer handbags don’t look 100% like the real thing. If you like a particular design then instead of buying a fake branded handbag why not choose one of the many styles that have been inspired by designer classics? For example if you like the new Gucci hobo then opt for a good quality unbranded leather hobo. There’s a lot available in the market, if you really want you can easily avoid a “fake” one and still remain stylish.

It is easier for your system to use the water to clear itself out this way. When you drink large amounts at one time, most of it will simply pass too quickly through your system to get the maximum benefit.
